Study on the Influence of Tourism Development on Economic Growth in Popular Cities Taking Cities with GDP Exceeding One Trillion Yuan as Examples
Cities with a GDP of more than one trillion yuan are popular tourism cities,which have a prominent repre-sentation of measuring the development level of tourism and economic growth efficiency,and have significant value in promoting the integrated development of industries and building a modern industrial system.This paper selects some Chinese cities with a GDP over one trillion yuan as sample cities,constructs a comprehensive research index system,uses cluster analysis,linear regression model,robustness test and other research methods to measure and analyze the coupling coordination degree of tourism industry to economic growth of sample cities from 2012 to 2021,and con-ducts linear regression analysis.The research results show that the tourism industry of the sample cities has a posi-tive promoting effect on economic development,but the reality gap between cities leads to a significant difference in the impact of tourism on economic development.Among them,the coupling level of tourism industry and economic development of adsorption tourism cities is in a highly integrated stage,while that of flat tourism cities is in a good interactive stage.Export-oriented tourism cities still need to be optimized and improved.It is suggested that sample cities should explore the sustainable development mode of integrating tourism industry and economic growth accord-ing to their own realities,and promote the realization of high-quality urban development.
