Research on the Impact of Urban Development on Spatial Heterogeneity of Airport Economic Zones
The construction of airport economic zones(AEZs)is crucial for promoting industrial structure upgrading and high-quality economic growth. To explore the spatial heterogeneity impact of urban development on AEZs,51 na-tional and local AEZs in China were selected as research objects. The kernel density analysis method was used to vis-ualize and fully discuss the evolution process of AEZ development. At the same time,a composite proximity relation-ship integrating comprehensive transportation time, air transportation service level, and other attributes was con-structed.Based on this,a multi-dimensional distance-based geographically weighted regression model(MD-GWR)was proposed, the driving factors of AEZ development were modeled, and differentiated policies to promote the growth of the airport economy in different regions were proposed based on the spatial heterogeneity of factors. The study shows:The MD-GWR model has better fitting performance compared to the classical GWR model, with im-provements of 12.52%and 40.17%,respectively,compared to the classical GWR model and OLS model; There is significant spatial heterogeneity in the impact of the urban economic scale, commercial trade, investment attraction, enterprise size, technological strength, and industrial structure on the growth of airport economy, with significant differences in the degree and direction of impact on different regions; To promote the high-quality development of the AEZ,it is necessary to further enhance the level of opening up of cities in the northeast and northwest regions,im-prove the quality of foreign investment in cities in the eastern region, improve the industrial structure adjustment pol-icies of cities in the northeast and central and western regions, and increase investment in scientific and technological research and development in cities such as Urumqi and Changchun. The research results are conducive to elucidate the development patterns and driving mechanisms of AEZs in various cities in China, provide a theoretical basis for formulating targeted and differentiated development policies for AEZs,and are of great significance for advancing the high-quality growth of the airport economy.
