Construction of the Qualifications Framework for Vocational Education with Chinese Characteristics:What,Challenges,and Actions
This paper starts with exploring the origin of the vocational education qualifications framework with Chinese characteristics,elaborating on its construction background,connotation,and basic characteristics.Then,it analyzes the practical challenges faced by the construction of the vocational education qualifications framework with Chinese characteristics from macro,meso,and micro perspectives and proposes an exploratory path to break through the predicament.Specifically,on the one hand,it is necessary to clarify key elements such as core competencies,types of knowledge,skill standards,and capability evaluation to endow the vocational education qualifications framework with distinct Chinese characteristics.On the other hand,it is necessary to ensure the effective implementation of the vocational education qualifications framework with Chinese characteristics through national support,vertical and horizontal integration of the system construction,establishment of unified assessment standards,implementation of strategies that connect with international standards,and promotion of pilot projects.
