Yu Hua,as an outstanding representative of contemporary Chinese literature,has a unique creative style.His works not only reveal the true meaning of the world and life but also conduct a unique exploration in terms of narrative themes,structures,and language.This paper applies narratological theory to analyze Yu Hua's new work Wencheng from four dimensions:narrative structure,narrative perspective,narrative rhythm,and narrative discourse.The aim is to reveal the subtleties of its narrative art and to provide new perspectives and methods for interpreting the novel text.
