Significance and Strategies of Integrating Farming Culture into Foreign Language Teaching in College
As the core of Chinese culture,Chinese traditional Farming culture is a priceless spiritual treasure to construct Core Socialist Values.Therefore,it is of great significance and value to integrate traditional farming culture into College English teaching.Based on the obstacles in this process,this study claims that such integration should follow the content-based teaching approach,focus on curricu-lum construction,emphasize collaborative education of school and community and adopt a blended learn-ing method to combine the online and offline teaching,with the ultimate goal to improve both the cogni-tive competence and language competence of the learners.Furthermore,this study also explores on the teaching practice under the framework of this approach,with an evaluation of the teaching reform in the end.
