培养学生跨文化意识是国家为顺应时代潮流,结合中国教育现状提出的教学要求.词汇是语言的基本单位,也是文化内容的载体.在高中英语教学中,教师应该在《普通高中英语课程标准》的指导下,改变词汇教学观念,深入研究教材,挖掘其文化内涵,结合学生学情,开展文化教育,并通过将词汇教学融入到真实的语用场景中,让学生在活动实践中提升跨文化意识,真正提高语言能力.
Strategies for Cultivating Students'Cross-cultural Awareness in High School English Vocabulary Teaching
Cultivating students'cross-cultural awareness is a teaching requirement put forward by the state in order to conform to the trend of the times and combine with the current situation of education in China.Vocabulary is the basic unit of language and the carrier of cultural content.In senior high school English teaching,under the guidance of English Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools,teachers should change the concept of vocabulary teaching,study textbooks in depth,explore their cultural connotation,carry out cultural education in combination with students'learning situation,and integrate vocabulary teaching into the real pragmatic scene,so that students can improve their cross-cultural awareness and language ability in practice.
