The Relationship between Positive Emotional Susceptibility and Gratitude among Junior High School Students:A Moderated Mediation Mode
To explore the relationship between positive emotional susceptibility, gratitude, psychological capital, and gender among middle school students.A moderated mediation model was constructed based on the emotional infection research theory. The study used a questionnaire to measure the positive emotional susceptibility, gratitude, and psychological capital of 408 middle school students. The results showed that positive emotional susceptibility, psychological capital, and gratitude were positively correlated;positive emotional susceptibility not only directly affected gratitude, but also indirectly through psychological capital, which played a partial mediating role in the relationship;gender moderated the first half of the mediation path;specifically, girls'positive emotional susceptibility had a more significant effect on gratitude than boys'positive emotional susceptibility. The study helps to understand the mechanism of positive emotional susceptibility on middle school students'gratitude, which is of great practical significance for improving middle school students'gratitude level.
