The Relationship between Psychological Capital and Learning Burnout of College Students under the mode of online learning at home:the Moderating Effect of Social Support
Objective:to explore the relationship between learning burnout and college students'psychologicalcapital as well as that with social support under the mode of online learning at home.Methods:a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1050 college students in a university in Anhui province using the psychological capital scale,social support scale and learning burnout scale.Results:Under the mode of online learning at home,psychological capital(r=-0.577,p<0.001)and social support(r=-0.341,p<0.001)were significantly and negatively correlated with learning burnout,and psychological capital was significantly and positively correlated with social support(r=0.496,p<0.001);Psychological capital could significantly and negatively predict learning burnout(β=-0.54,p<0.001);Social support had a significant moderating effect between psychological capital and learning burnout(β=-0.08,p<0.05).Conclusion:Under the mode of online learning at home,psychological capital reversely predicts college students'learning burnout;with the increase of social support level,the negative predictive effect of psychological capital on learning burnout increased.
