To clarify the research achievements and problems of phase change materials in the field of temperature regulating clothing,the current application of phase change materials in the field was investigated and summarized.Firstly,the classification of phase change materials was introduced,and the temperature regulating mechanism of phase change materials was briefly analyzed.Additionally,the application status of medical cooling suit,thermal protective suit,diving suit,infrared camouflage suit and other temperature regulating clothing using phase change materials in high temperature,cold environment and special scenarios was described.The existing problems in the application of phase change materials were pointed out.Finally,the development trend of phase change materials was discussed to provide foundation for the research of phase change materials in the field of temperature regulating clothing.
