Study on the glossiness change rate of wool/polyester uniform fabrics after aurora generation
In order to explore effective evaluation indicators for the strength of aurora in wool/polyester uniform fabrics,a combination of subjective and objective methods was used to test the gloss and brightness changes of existing aurora and non aurora fabrics using colorimeters, fabric glossmeters, etc.Research has shown that there are significant differences in brightness and glossiness between the aurora and non aurora regions of the same fabric. The variation pattern of the average glossiness change rate in the aurora and non aurora regions is consistent with subjective evaluation by the human eye,and can quantitatively evaluate the strength of the fabric's aurora. The brightness difference can qualitatively explain the change in fabric gloss, but it is not consistent with subjective evaluation.Aurora has obvious directionality, and the longitudinal glossiness of the tested sample's aurora area is higher than that of the latitudinal direction. The glossiness change rate in the most obvious direction of aurora should be used for quantitative assessment.
