Influence of dyeing process and carding auxiliaries on carding performance of mercerized wool
In order to improve the carding performance, spinning efficiency and yarn quality of wool fibers, the effects of dyeing process and carding additives on carding performance of wool products were investigated by parallel experiments. The results show that the 21.5 μm mercerized wool strip was dyed with micro-suspension in place mineralized dyeing technology, and the 12.5 tex worsted yarn was spun with carding control agent XHM-J in equal quantity instead of traditional carding, wool oil and antistatic agent. The staining of roller during carding was reduced, the breakage rate of small yarn was reduced by 75.9%,and the breakage rate of large yarn was reduced by 20.0%.Elongation at break is increased by 28.4%and work at break is increased by 22.0%.The performance of wool carding was significantly improved, and the effect of improving quality and efficiency was obvious.
