Extraction of hemp cellulose and its nanofiber preparation and characterization
In order to improve the high value-added application of hemp cellulose, the hemp fiber was dissolved in the solvent system of lithium chloride/N and N-dimethylacetamide(LiCl/DMAc)to obtain cellulose solution, which was blended with polyacrylonitrile solution to obtain electrostatic spinning solution, thereby preparing nanofibers containing hemp cellulose. The dissolution process of hemp cellulose was optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiment. The results show that the best process for dissolving hemp cellulose in LiCl/DMAc solvent system is as follows:LiCl mass fraction is 12%,the solid-liquid ratio of hemp to LiCl/DMAc solvent is 1:180,heating temperature is 120℃and heating time is 3 h.The diameter of nanofibers prepared by electrospinning method is 200~280 nm,the breaking strength is(5.51±0.42)cN,and the breaking elongation is(12.97±7.42)%.The nanofiber membrane has smooth surface, uniform fiber diameter distribution and excellent mechanical properties, which provides some reference for dissolving cellulose and provides a basis for the research and development of new nanofibers containing hemp cellulose.
