Development of digital prototyping technology and its application in new looms research and development were introduced.From concept and characteristics of digital prototyping technology,the development of digital prototyping technology at home and abroad,application status as well as the current mainstream digital design business software were introduced.Development status of national current looms was analyzed.Key issues and technology difficulties of developing our country all-digital loom system was pointed out.Digital prototyping research platform for domestic weaving machine complete machine system were listed.It is considered that new R & D model are introduced by digital technology for the textile industry,it is the inevitable trend of future development of textile machinery.
