Relationship discussion between drafting force and segment color structure of segment color yarn
Aiming the adjustment of the spinning process primarily be guided by observing and measuring the structure of colored yarn in the section currently,as well as insufficient understanding the dynamic force characteristics during the drawing process of decorative yarn,a spinning experiment platform with online testing capability for draft force was constructed.By conducting online test to monitor change in draft force on whiskle-bar during intermittent feeding of embellishing yarn,integrating the data with corresponding color structures of yarn segment,relationship between draft force on whiskle-bar and intermittent feeding of embellishing yarn was established,which could provide a theoretical foundation for adjusting the spinning process.Through adjustment to the spinning process,effect of draft force on color structure was analyzed.The result showed that both length of section colored yarn and drafting force of decorative yarn were impacted by back roller gauge significantly.A smaller back roller gauge facilitate control colored yarn length but results in higher drafting force load.The selection of appropriate back roller gauge required balancing the above factors.As the drafting ratio increase in the back zone,color knot length was increased firstly and then decreased,drafting force was decreased firstly and then increased.In certain condition,draft system load could be decreased through adjusting draft multiple in back draft zone.
