Thoughts and Suggestions from Airline's Perspective on Bridging Rate of Airports with over 10 Million Passenger Throughput
The bridging rate is a crucial indicator for assessing airport operational efficiency and service quality.This article,from the perspective of airlines,interprets the requirements outlined in the guidance issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China's Airport Department on improving the bridging rate of airports with over 10 million passenger throughput.By analyzing factors such as airline flight schedules,airport air bridge facilities,gate assignment control and airport support processes,the paper proposes innovative suggestions including data-driven air bridge resource management and intelligent flight scheduling,bridging rate control based on data sharing,and the application of innovative products to enhance towing and self-taxi capabilities,in order to provide reference for airports and airlines to collaborate to continuously improve bridging rate and operational efficiency.
