Distance Calculation of Aircraft to Restricted Airspace Based on Vincenty Formula
In order to calculate the distance from aircraft to restricted airspace in real time to ensure that civil aviation aircraft avoid these areas in a timely manner and guarantee flight safety,this paper analyzes the restricted airspace of different shapes in two-dimensional plane and proposes a method that calculates the shortest distance of each edge and a method that calculates the minimum covering circle of vertices based on Vincenty formula.Besides,the method that calculates the shortest distance of each edge is further applied to calculating the distance between aircraft and the national border.Finally,based on multiple groups of actual data,simulation analysis is carried out to determine the usage scenarios of different methods.The results show that this method can accurately calculate the distance between aircraft and circular special airspace or polygonal special airspace,and lower real-time calculation pressure.This method is applicable and feasible in calculating the distance between aircraft and border lines.
