Discussion on Partial Runway Take-off of Class C Aircraft at Hub Airports
The article provides statistics on the runway lengths and minimum takeoff distances available at low-altitude hub airports in eastern China, analyzes the proportion of Class C aircraft operating at hub airports and the flight performance of common Class C aircraft types, and compares the results with runway lengths of 4C airports with similar conditions. It points out that the runway lengths and minimum takeoff distances at hub airports are significantly greater than the required take-off distance of Class C aircraft and it is necessary to allow Class C aircraft to implement partial runway take-off.Taking actual airports as examples, the article discusses the reduced runway takeoff distances for Class C aircraft and the comprehensive benefits it brings, including shortened taxi distances, saved passenger time, reduced fuel consumption, increased runway capacity and balanced longitudinal runway load distribution.
