GPS Signal Interference Heatmap Based on ADS-B Data
Aircraft go-arounds,returns and emergency landings have become increasingly common as a result of interference with airborne GPS signals in recent years, which seriously threatens civil aviation flight safety.Due to information lag, information incompleteness and poor presentation, the interference monitoring system currently in use has low clearance efficiency. In this study, the ADS-B data of the disturbed flights can be extracted simultaneously during the flight by mining the correlation between ADS-B data and GPS signal quality. The geographic location and severity of the interference can be visually presented in a heatmap, thus realizing real-time visual monitoring of GPS interference. This study is helpful in carrying out further interference analysis and location so as to improve the efficiency of interference detection and ensure aviation safety more effectively.
