Analysis of"8.11-8.12"Rainstorm Process at Guanghan Airport
This paper mainly studies a long-lasting summer rainstorm in the Sichuan Basin on August 11-12,2020,focusing on the analysis of the circulation situation,the Black Body Temperature and the related physical quantity fields of this process.The study finds that when the center of heavy precipitation was mainly located in the eastern Sichuan area,the significant westward extension of the subtropical high made the shallow trough in Qinghai Province move slowly,resulting in the continuous influence of the southwest airflow in front of the trough on Guanghan Airport,and the thermal low pressure which developed and strengthened at 700 hPa and 850 hPa was also one of the reasons for the long duration and great intensity of the rainstorm;according to the analysis of the FY-2G satellite cloud map,the precipitation was a vigorous convective cloud precipitation with extremely high cloud tops;the relative humidity over Guanghan Airport showed the top was dry and the bottom was wet,the whole layer was dominated by upward movement,and the layer near the ground was a weak downward airflow.
