This paper applies the theory about classification and characteristics of flight waveforms to Urumqi International Airport,and analyzes the flight operation and airport utilization efficiency of Urumqi Airport from four dimensions:runway utilization balance,fluctuation of aircraft movements,flight connecting time and connecting frequency.Based on the waveform analysis results,it gives suggestions on future operation of the airport.
