Supply-side structural reform is an important hand to achieve the"double carbon"goal,so the optimal allocation of supply-side factors is of great significance to the formulation of carbon emission and emission reduction strategies. This paper takes the panel data from 2014 to 2022 as a sample, explores the group effect of supply-side factors on carbon emission intensity on the longitudinal axis of time, and characterizes the spatial distribution difference of group coverage through the dynamic QCA method. The study shows that supply-side factors have three combinations in reducing carbon emission intensity:the"single-factor"model,the"factor-institution"model and the"multi-factor"model,which are related to the"single-factor"model and the"multi-factor"model,respectively,match the implementation effects in the eastern, central, western and northeastern regions;energy intensity plays a dominant role in lowering carbon intensity in the eastern and northeastern regions;and different carbon intensity-driven effects lead to differentiated combinations of supply-side factors.
