Having the unique cultural characteristics,Fujian folk art and culture is a significant embod-iment of"the wisdom of Fujianese",characterized by its regional,temporal,and diverse features.During the translation process,it is inevitable to encounter situations where there are significant differ-ences between the target language and the source language culture.Translators should engage in re-cre-ation based on a thorough understanding of its connotations.This study interprets the English translation of the series of articles on"the wisdom of Fujianese"and introduces a new translation method—con-cretized re-creation on the basis of formal re-creation and imagistic re-creation.This approach enriches the methods and techniques for translating Fujian folk art and culture,providing support for the interna-tional communication of"the wisdom of Fujianese".
