Internet memes serve as a linguistic medium for college students to interact on social plat-forms.Through creating and spreading Internet memes,college students fulfill their need for self-expres-sion and find emotional resonance.However,under the influence of pan-entertainment trends and capi-talist ideology,college students become addicted to negative internet memes and their spiritual world is corrupted by extreme social trends.They gradually lose the ability to think rationally,emerge the ideo-logical polarization and a crisis in value identity.In response to the serious challenge,ideological and political education of college students must enhance its interpretative and persuasive power,create a classroom context for teachers and students to think and learn together,and innovate educational content to gather feelings and wisdom,thereby building the ideological foundation of college students'i-deals and beliefs.
