On Li Da's Main Contribution to the Sinicization of Marxist Economics
Li Da is the pioneer of Marxist economics in China and the main disseminator and researcher of the sinicization of Marxist economics in the early period.He translated and wrote a large number of works on Marxist economics and trained a group of scholars who are well versed in Marxist economic theory.Li Da is the first scholar to argue that Marxist economics must study China's economic issues.He clearly points out the particularity of China's economy,firmly believes that socialism is the only way for China,and describes the structure and characteristics of socialist economy in detail.In the 1950s,he courageously proposed the necessity of commodity production and exchange in the primary stage of socialism.Li Da is the founder of China's Marxist monetary theory system.He criticizes western monetary thoughts such as monetary metalism and nominalism from the perspective of Marxist monetary theory,deeply analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of western countries'monetary policies,and tries to establish a monetary theory suitable for China's national conditions.
