The Debate Between Liberialism and Communitarianism——A Solution Based on The Marx's Community Thought
The essence of the dispute between liberalism and communitarianism is how to deal with the contradictory relationship between the individual and the community.They either use the individual to restrict the community,or use the community to suppress the individual,all of which ignore the symbiotic relationship between the individual and the community,so they can't really solve the contradiction between the individual and the community.Marx believes that in the world of materialized logic,individual and community are inevitably opposed.Only by eliminating the division of labor and private ownership,can the union of individuals as free individuals realize the"true community",and therefore can the opposition between special interests and universal interests be eliminated,and dialectical reconciliation can be achieved between individuals and community.Marx's community thought provides important ideological resources for solving the dispute between liberalism and communitarianism.
