Abstract
Engels'theory of proletarian party ideological construction in his later years is an important content of Marxist party theory that cannot be ignored.Engels emphasized that the ideological construction of the proletarian party should always adhere to the guiding position of Marxism,correctly handle the ideological relationship within the party according to the principle of democratic centralism,and strengthen the ideological ability of the proletarian party.In the new era,new journey and new mission,Engels'theory of proletarian party ideological construction in his later years has important practical enlightenment for strengthening the ideological construction of the Communist Party of China and continuously improving the Party's combat effectiveness.
