Abstract
MEGA is a collection of Marx and Engels'works edited and organized based on their original writing language.Over more than a hundred years of publication,it has experienced the interruption of MEGA1 and the restart of MEGA2.The ongoing MEGA editorial and publishing industry has had a positive impact on the study of Marxist literature,Marxist theory,and the localization of Marxism in China.Paying attention to the publication process of MEGA and exploring its contemporary value has become a major practical measure for the contemporary academic community to extend the vitality of Marx and Engels'thought.
