Application of Hydraulic Fracturing Technology in Paleogene Low Permeability Reservoirs in the East of South China Sea
The proved OOIP of Paleogene reservoirs in the east of South China Sea is huge and important successor for increasing production in the future. However, the reservoir characteristics of Paleogene formation is worse. It is difficult to achieve good results with conventional stimulation measurements. Therefore, hydraulic fracturing is carried out in Paleogene reservoirs, and some knowledge is obtained:in view of the complex wellbore schematic and production status of offshore production wells, different fracturing methods are demonstrated, and finally the preset string segmented fracturing method is adopted. For the fracturing of large-scale directional wells in low-permeability reservoirs, the process design idea of"multi slug+low displacement+low sand ratio+large sand volume"is formed.According to the offshore operation conditions and reservoir physical properties, the seawater based fracturing fluid system is optimized and successfully applied. In view of the special operating environment of offshore platforms, the production platform fracturing and tugboat fracturing operation methods have been formed, which provides a good reference for subsequent offshore fracturing operations.
