Advances Degradation of Organic Pollutants in Aqueous Solutions Using Persulfate Systems Catalyzed by Catalysts with Enhancement of Hydroxylamine
Hydroxylamine(HA)is widely used in persulfate(PS)-based advanced oxidation processes due to its ability to promote Fe2+/Fe3+cycling and improve the removal efficiency of target pollutants. In this review, the degradation efficiency of various target organic pollutants by hydroxylamine enhanced catalyst/persulfate system were summarized. The mechanism of homogeneous/PS system and heterogeneous/PS systems driven by hydroxylamine were compared. The effects of the hydroxylamine dosages,pH values, and anions in water on the degradation of organic pollutants by HA/catalyst/PS system were discussed. Finally, the challenges and prospects faced in this field were proposed.
