The traditional reliability model cannot accurately describe the impact of external impact and strength degradation on the product's own reliability, ignoring the change rule of strength over time.To carry out the dynamic reliability analysis of the whole life cycle of the mechanical parts with self-healing characteristics,on the basis of considering the storage period and performance degradation of mechanical parts, the strength degradation process of mechanical parts, performance degradation process, and the interrelationship of the impact process are investigated, and the strength degradation model of mechanical parts with the consideration of the performance degradation process is established.Based on the established strength degradation model, the dynamic reliability model of mechanical parts under the consideration of system self-healing and variable failure threshold is established by applying stochastic process and self-healing theory to incorporate the changing characteristics of the threshold, and the reliability indexes and dynamic reliability are calculated by using the second-order moments and regression methods. Finally, through the numerical study of vehicle tie rods,it is shown that the model can better describe all the stages in the whole life cycle of the self-healing products, which proves the validity and reasonableness of the model.
