With the rapid development of the new generation of artificial intelligence technology and its deep embedment in government governance,the practical scenarios and governance effective-ness of public managers are undergoing profound changes,and their professional competency is un-dergoing a severe test.In the era of artificial intelligence,the target orientation,training mode,cur-riculum system and teaching methods of traditional public management discipline personnel training have been challenged to varying degrees.In line with the revolutionary opportunities and subversive challenges brought by the development of artificial intelligence,public administration personnel training should take the initiative to make innovative changes to respond positively:to train"num-ber intelligence"public management personnel committed to Chinese modernization;gather high-quality resources such as universities,local governments and artificial intelligence enterprises to build a strong talent training community;break the barriers of public administration,artificial intelli-gence,law,ethics and other disciplines,and draw a curriculum system for people's better life.The new era of public managers with both virtue and talent of public service should be cultivated by changing the teaching method based on knowledge imparted and taking professional competence as the orientation.
