This paper analyses the sorting principle of the coarse slime teetere bed separator and the characteristics of the flow field and the running track of the material inside the separator.It shows that the sorting effect of the teetere bed separator becomes worse in a wide size of coarse slime material feed.The structure of common teetere bed separator is introduced,and a kind of multi-size teetere bed separator is optimized in this paper.The experimental datas show that the yield of fine coal slime sorted by multi-size teetere bed separator is 4.83％higher than that sorted by conventional teetere bed separator,which proves that the multi-size teetere bed separator can achieve better separation effect in the treatment of wide grade coarse coal slime material.
