This paper expounds the design of PLC control system for coal handling in power plant based on the analysis of coal handling system.The main circuit and PLC control circuit of coal conveying control system are designed,the program flow function of PLC control system of coal conveying is designed on the basis of hardware design,to develop the monitor and control system picture of the upper computer of the coal fossil-fuel power station control system,complete the configuration design of the remote monitoring and control system,design various graphic interfaces and monitoring functions of the remote monitoring and control system,realize the remote monitoring and control function of coal conveying system.
