Preparation of NaX zeolite from coal gangue by alkali melting-hydrothermal method and its adsorption characteristics for Pb2+
In order to achieve high value utilization of silicon and aluminum components in coal gangue,NaX zeolite were synthesized using coal gangue as raw material by alkali melting-hydrothermal method. The product was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and the performance of the prepared zeolite was evaluated using static saturated water absorption and calcium ion exchange capacity. The results showed that the calcium ion exchange capacity of the synthesized zeolite was 283.37mg/g when the silicon aluminum ratio was 3,the alkali ash ratio was 1.2,the aging temperature was 40 ℃,the aging time was 30 min,the hydrothermal temperature was 100 ℃,the hydrothermal time was 5 h,and the NaOH concentration was 2.73 mol/L.Furthermore,we also studied the adsorption performance of Pb2+in the liquid phase for the synthesized NaX zeolite. When the zeolite dosage is 1g/L,the adsorption temperature is 25 ℃,and the adsorption time is 2 h,the maximum adsorption capacity(Qe)can reach 483.05mg/g.Besides,the adsorption isotherm follows the Langmuir model, and the saturated adsorption capacity(Qm)can reach 528.31mg/g.
