The coal sample preparation system is currently an automated sample preparation system for manually sampling commercial coal samples.The coal plugging failure of feeding belt and crusher is easy to occur in the process of artificial sample preparation,which leads to the reduction of sampling efficiency and affects the timeliness of coal detection results.Through the analysis and research of the existing problems of the coal bulk sample preparation system,it is determined that an additional roller should be added under the feed belt corresponding to the feed hopper discharge port,a feed stirring device should be added in the feed hopper,and the crusher screen plate should be changed to a double-layer screen plate with different hole sizes.The results show that the upgraded coal sample preparation system can prepare coal samples with a total moisture content of less than 20.0% and no coal blockage failure has occurred;Performance tests show that the precision of the upgraded coal sample preparation system meets the requirements and there is no substantial bias.The average difference of ash content is 0.00%,and the average difference of total moisture is-0.08% .
