Research on the physical and chemical properties and sorting effect of coal gasification residue
Gasification residue has complex physical and chemical properties, among which inorganic substances and heavy metals will bring environmental pollution risk.By means of BET,SEM and XRF characterization techniques, the physical and chemical characteristics of carbon residue and gasification tailings in the optimal separation conditions were discussed, with emphasis on the distribution of heavy metals in carbon residue and gasification tailings. The results show that the average specific surface area of fine residue and coarse residue is 122.20 m2/g and 41.07 m2/g,respectively.When the density is 1.60 g/cm3,the carbon recovery rate of fine residue is 76.54%and that of coarse residue is 42.60%.After separation, the content of heavy metals in carbon residue increased, while the chemical composition of gasification tailings did not change significantly, but the total amount of heavy metals decreased.
