Study on combustion and pollutant emission characteristics of transformation from double-cone pulverized-coal boiler to gas-fired boiler
To realize the aim of pulverized coal boiler to gas boiler transformation retaining the major structure, the replacement is just fixing a gas-fired nozzle instead the coal-fired one.The combustion and pollutant emission characteristics after transformation was studied by experimental research in this article. The results show that:The profile of the flame is a blue annular with a diameter slightly smaller than the outlet of the combustion chamber. The measured temperature in the combustion chamber is less than 700℃,and the flame front moves forward under low load.On the typical sections of the furnace, the combustion temperature is less than 1 000℃.When the total air excess coefficient is 1.1,the Nitrogen oxide production decrease with the increase of the secondary air excess coefficient in the range of 0.7~1.1.The NOx initial emission is 33 mg/m3 at the full combustor load with 1.1 secondary air excess coefficient. When the tertiary air is introduced(the oxygen concentration of secondary air is 19%,the oxygen concentration of tertiary air is 18%),the NOx initial emission is less than 30 mg/m3.Especially,the NOx initial emission at full combustor load is 15 mg/m3 at 1.1 secondary air excess coefficient.
