Ideal and predicament:marriage, love and childbearing of new women in Yan'an period
During the Yan'an period,a large number of young people went to northern Shaanxi, among which young women were a group that could not be ignored. They rebelled against the old family, came to Yan'an for their ideal, longed for freedom of marriage, equality between men and women, and became"Nora"who came out of the family. However, there is always a gap between ideal and reality. After accepting the mission of revolution,Resistance War against Japanese Aggression and women's liberation, they encountered a dilemma between revolutionary work and revolutionary motherhood. In response, some of these new women returned to their families and took on the task of raising children;some gave their children to fellow villagers or had their children raised by the government;others insisted on their work while raising their children and paid more hard work.On the road of revolution, these women endured more pain and pressure than men,and made important contributions to Chinese revolution.
