Abstract
In the construction of new liberal arts,local colleges and universities should create conditions to realize the penetration of arts and sciences,the combination between liberal arts,the integration of ancient and modern times,the connection between internal and external,and the union of knowledge and practice.Taking Hebei University of Science and Technology as an example,the construction of new liberal arts in local colleges and universities should be combined with the reality and do what it can,first"keep the right",then"bring forth the new",and rush for no quick success.
