A study of travel notes of West Mountain in Beijing from the perspective of literary geography——Taking the southern literati works of late Ming Dynasty as an example
In the late Ming Dynasty,the culture of tourism was flourishing,and the literati traveled with pleasure and devoted themselves to nature.The southern literati in Beijing liked to visit the West Mountain of Beijing.The West Mountain is near to the capital city and the natural landscape is similar to South of the Yangtze River Watertown,which is actually the best place to enjoy scenic beauty and express the spirit.There are 75 travel notes of West Mountain in scholar anthologies and other documents written by southern literati,among which the words"Jiangnan"and"Southeast"with clear direction appeared nearly 40 times.The southern literati missed South of the Yangtze River Watertown when traveling to West Mountain,and West Mountain became the channel to pass on their homesickness,and presented unique cultural implication.
