A Case Study of the Technological Catch-up Path of Latecomer Enterprise Based on Dual learning
At present,the global economic environment is turbulent,and international relations are becoming increasingly complex and severe.The development of China's strategic emerging industries faces the problem of core technology"bottleneck."Due to the lack of knowledge resources,small and medium-sized enterprises in the middle and lower reaches of the industrial chain fall into a vicious cycle of technology"catch-up,backwardness,and catch-up."This study is based on the dual learning theory and adopts an exploratory single-case research method.Taking Chengdu Oukang Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.as an example,it explores the process of resources integration through dual learning as a latecomer small and medium-sized enterprise in face of resources scarcity,thereby breaking through the trap of technological catch-up and backwardness.The following conclusions have been drawn from the study:(1)For latecomer small and medium-sized enterprises,obtaining new resources is difficult and costly,and channels are limited.There-fore,integrating existing resources through dual learning is an effective way to achieve rapid technological catch-up;(2)With the deepening of enterprise development,its resources integration enters the next stage,resulting in a dynamic balance transition between spatiotemporal separation and situational dual learning;(3)Exploratory learning is the key to achieving technological breakthroughs,and its integration of resource leverage is an important breakthrough for achieving technological breakthroughs.Based on these,this article constructs a dual learning resources integration theoretical model,proposing the process and evolution path of latecomer small and medium-sized enterprises integrating existing resources through dual learning to achieve technological breakthroughs.The research has enlightening value for latecomer small and medium-sized enterprises to break out of the technology catch-up trap and build dynamic competitive advantages.
