The Role Orientation and Ability Composition of Ideological and Political Course Teachers in the Context of New Liberal Arts
"New liberal arts"is an important topic in the development and reform of liberal arts at present,as well as the forward direction of higher education reform.Its essence lies in adhering to the value orientation and realizing the integration of disciplines,technologies,and practices.Ideological and political course belongs to the construction scope of new liberal arts general courses.It is urgent to respond to the construction concept of new liberal arts and build ideological and political course into a"new ideological and political course"that complements other courses with a high modernization level and responds to realistic concerns.According to the role theory,the role of ideological and political teachers in the new ideological and political construction is defined as designer,imple-menter,and introspector.The role of each dimension needs to be supported by the corresponding role ability.The teachers of the ideological and political course,the designers,need to have the ability to understand and learn,the ability to investigate and research,and the ability to decompose target.As implementors,ideological and political teachers should have the ability to integrate knowledge resource,practices,and technologies.Teachers of ideological and political courses,as introspector,need to be equipped with the ability to evaluate,experience summary,diagnosis,analysis,and optimization,presenting a"role-ability"structure of"three-dimensional and eleven elements."
