Instructional Design and Practice on Counseling Psychology Course Based on Competence Cultivation
This study aims to cultivate the competency of students majoring in applied psychology to do psychological counseling(counseling)work and designs a teaching reform plan based on modularization of teaching content,integration of teaching methods,and three-dimensional teaching evaluation.This study constructs the four-in-one course content system of"theoretical knowledge+basic technology+practical application+self-growth";applies a combination of behaviorist,cognitivist,and constructivist instructional design concepts to the different instructional stages and content of the course;and uses online plus offline hybrid teaching mode to carry out teaching practice for the students majoring in applied psychology between the years from 2017 to 2019.The result shows that students'competence scores on the counseling scale and IRI-C improved significantly after the course compared to before the course.
