Initiated in the mid-1960s,"the Third-line Construction,"primarily designed for preparedness in times of war,objectively facilitated the comprehensive economic and social development in southwest ethnic regions.The southwest ethnic regions,mainly encompassing Yunnan,Guizhou,and Sichuan,were the focal areas of the Third-line Construction,which propelled a leap-forward development in education across these ethnic regions.The implementation of the Third-line Construction in ethnic regions led to a significant influx of key projects and high-caliber personnel,instigating a transformation in the educational perspectives of ethnic communities.The development of"the integration of industry and agriculture"has improved the educational conditions in the southwestern ethnic regions,simultaneously enhancing the quality of education.Particularly noteworthy is how school education concretized the abstract concept of"the sense of community for the Chinese nations"into the daily learning,life,and interactions of students from various ethnicities,embodying the value orientation of education in nurturing a diversified yet intergrated sense of community for the Chinese nation.
