Colleges and universities in small and medium-sized cities are an indispensable part of China's higher education system.In the process of promoting common prosperity,undergraduate colleges in small and medium-sized cities have played multiple roles,including helping local economic development,promoting the formation of an olive-shaped social structure,improving education fairness and justice,and promoting common prosperity of people's life spirit.The way to achieve common prosperity for small and medium-sized urban undergraduate colleges lies in deepening school-place cooperation,which requires small and medium-sized urban undergraduate colleges and cities to form"shared value",strengthen the top-level design,improve the governance structure,improve teacher evaluation mechanism,and cultivate leadership core with service consciousness and spirit.
