China has entered a deep aging society.This study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the de-mands and problems of nursing service professionals for the elderly.There are large demand quantity and serious shortage of supply quantity;the demand structure is diversified and the supply structure is short;there is a wide range of occupations in demand and a narrow range of occupations in supply.To solve the imbalance of the outstanding contradiction between supply and demand,voca-tional colleges embody their important value implication through the main channel role in realizing national enabling,the main van-guard role in theoretical and practical exploration,and the main force role in cultivating healthy talents.Targeted strategies are pro-posed,including leveraging educational institutions to rapidly expand training capacity,optimizing the quality structure to address talent deficiencies,expanding specialized programs to meet diverse needs,and strengthening skills training to enhance practical abil-ities.
