Since the 20th century,there has been a paradigm crisis,which is the shift from figurative art to abstract art.As a transitional form from the old paradigm to the new one,contemporary avant-garde art is also full of crisis in representation and aesthetics,which poses a serious challenge to contemporary aesthetics and art theory.Traditional aesthetics cannot ade-quately articulates the conceptualization of contemporary art,leading to a crisis in aesthetic interpretation.The aesthetic crisis of contemporary art involves both the artistic concept itself and the public's expectations of art.Contemporary new aesthet-ics,represented by the aesthetics of appearing and atmospheres,has broken through the barriers of analytical aesthetics and returned to the tradition of"sensory studies"of aesthetics.Using sensory concepts such as"appearing","atmospheres"and"synesthesia"as explanatory frameworks,they construct a perception experience centered on the body,rediscover and inter-pret the various sensory experience characteristics of contemporary avant-garde art works,and propose a reasonable emotion-al redemption plan for the aesthetic crisis of contemporary art.
