As the flag-bearer of the Tibetan New Wave,Pema Tseden's film creation has been regarded as the pioneer in ex-pressing the narrative subjectivity of Tibetan films.However,he examines the true face of Tibetan reality from a stern per-spective.There is a paradoxical logic between subjective expression and objective scrutinization,but the two are properly in-tegrated in Pema Tseden's films due to Pema Tseden's cross-boundary life history and the diverse horizons he has acquired through migration across different cultural frameworks.The postmodern subject's pluralistic,differentiated,and fluid identi-ty characteristics lead to the complexity of the cultural subject's creative vision,which corresponds to Pema Tseden's person-al life and creative features.Therefore,this paper aims to explore the internal logic of Pema Tseden's creative style through the discussion of his identity.
