摘要

布克哈特和瓦尔堡是西方艺术史学史中绕不开的两个重要人物.他们以艺术史为研究对象,用不同方式构建了各自对文化及历史世界的理解;通过对"可视的叙事史"的建构,赋予传统艺术史一种充满张力的精神性维度,使其转化为瓦尔堡所说的充满"间隙"的图像史.图像作为一种阿甘本意义上的"非作"和弗洛伊德的"裂口",以其自身"不可见"的"潜能",既通过"展现"而运作,也通过"未展现"而运作.图像在重视"可见性"与"不可见性"的辩证运动中打开人类的深层记忆,在切近危机时代艺术文化与生命本质的同时,以图像—记忆的方式截断线性历史进步主义的神话,使过去、现时、未来交错存在于当下,从而真正切近神秘幽深、难以把握的历史本身.

Abstract

As two important figures in the history of Western art historiography,Burckhardt and Warburg have taken art his-tory as an object of study and constructed their respective understandings of the cultural and historical world in different ways.By constructing a"visual narrative history",they have given the traditional art history a spiritual dimension full of tension,transforming it into what Warburg calls a history of images full of"zwischen".As a kind of"non-work"in Agamben's sense and Freud's"fissure",the image,with its own"invisible potential",operates by"showing"and also by"not showing".In the dialectical movement of"visibility"and"invisibility",image opens up the deep memory of human beings and approaches the essence of art,culture and life in the crisis era,while shattering the myth of linear historical pro-gressivism in the way of"image-memory",allowing the past,present and future to coexist in the present,thus truly getting close to the mysterious,deep and ungraspable history itself.
