Control and Opening up:Reflections on Special Characteristics of Rural Governance in Yunnan-Vietnam Border Region in Post Epidemic Era
The border between Yunnan and Vietnam has been a border area with better control and epidemic prevention since the outbreak of the COVID-19.However,there are still some problems, such as limited border exchanges and border opening, lack of redundancy in basic prevention and control human resources, increased epidemic prevention responsibilities at border ports and border villages, and serious loss of border residents. In the post epidemic era,how to deal with the dual opposition between"clearance"and"connectivity","blockage"and"drainage"in grassroots governance in border areas is facing a major test. This paper explores the special and effective ways of rural governance in the Yunnan-Vietnam border area.
